Preface
This standard is the first time to develop industry standards.
This standard is in GB/T 778.1-1996 the first part of the water meter: standard "(eqv ISO 4064-1: 1993 the closed pipe flow measurement – drinking water meter — part 1: specification), GB/T 778.3 – 1996 the water meter part 3: test methods and test equipment (idt ISO 4064-1: 1983 the closed pipe flow measurement – drinking water meter — part 3: test methods and test device") adds electronic equipment technical requirements, and follows the standards for electronic products.
This standard also refers to ISO/FDIS4064-1-2005 in the enclosed full pipe flow measurement – drinking water meter and hot water — part 1: specification, ISO/FDIS4064-3-2005 closed full pipe flow measurement – drinking water meter and hot water — part 3: test methods and test equipment of relevant content.
Appendix A of this standard as a normative appendix.
This standard consists of the construction standards fixed by the Institute.

This standard applies to output signals into digital signals, and conform to GB/T 778.1, GB/T 778.3 related provisions of the water meter.
